The Business is Expanding Yet Again

My stepfather owns an equipment rental business. It is not glamorous, but he makes good money, and he is able to live very comfortably. He even has a boat house and he goes fishing and camping whenever he can. He recently expanded his business, so he is looking for a flatbed truck for sale, so that he can start delivering more large equipment like forklifts and backhoes. He used to have people drive the tractors and other equipment like that right out of the lot, but the insurance costs are getting too high for that. It is safer to drop off and pick up the rentals at the site. I do not visit my mom and stepdad that often, because they live way out in the country and it is a good two hour drive, but it is a nice house, with lots of bedrooms and a large kitchen, which my mom seems to like.

I have been in the travel business for years. Back then, we were only reserving rooms and airline tickets for clients. And then, we included planning of trips. But one thing that keeps us from growing is the lack of vehicle. We were eyeing at Vauxhall Vivaro for quite some time now. I really like the van because it’s comfy and looks so luxurious. But we cannot afford a brand new van yet. So we thought about getting a used vehicle. There should be no problem because there are many used Vauxhall Vivaro vans to choose from. But, we thought about the maintenance, repair, and everything. In the end, it will be more of a liability than an asset. That’s when we considered leasing our Vauxhall Vivaro . With leasing, we don’t have to worry about maintenance, insurance, and even the cost. We pay them every month and they’ll take care of everything. Finally, we can have our very own vehicle and not worry about the hassles that go with it. Instead, we can focus more on improving our travel business.
Got the Luggage Carrier and We Are Ready for a Road Trip

I am finally taking the family on a road trip. I bought these awesome new luggage carriers for the vehicle, and soon we will be on our way. We are heading down to North Carolina, which is about a 14 hour drive! It’s just me and the kids, so hopefully everything goes smoothly. I got two DVD players for the back seats, and a lot of snacks to keep the kids quiet. I’m hoping there are no major problems, and that we can do the trip in one day. I plan on leaving at 5:00am so that I don’t hit a big city during rush hour. I must say I’m a little nervous to be driving alone, but I know my kids will have so much fun. We are going to visit my brother, and have a lot of fun activities planned. Well, I have a lot of packing to do! I’ll check in once we get back home and let you all know how the trip went.
